Inland M1 Carbine

Early Inland high-wood M1 Carbine.

This rifle is all original and correct.  It was imported to Canada by the previous owner who found it hidden in a house in Europe in the early 1970's.  The rifle is most likely a battlefield pickup, exactly like the day it was left behind.

Most U.S. rifles saw extensive service and rebuilds making it extremely difficult to find all original examples.  While U.S. service members could bring back foreign rifles and often stole pistols, very few U.S. rifles were kept by veterans.
